Back from another riveting trip to the DR, but this time with a church group from North Carolina! We were also joined by Aaron, Kerry and Maddy from Winnipeg. This phenomenally talented and loving group built 2 homes for 2 wonderful families and also held some evening church services.

This past October half of Fort Group, a Winnipeg accounting firm joined our Shine The Light trip.

We had a large group of absolutely wonderful people join us from 4 provinces. We ranged in age from 1 to 70 (with that birthday being celebrated on our trip) and quickly became like family.

We are just less than a week out from the first Shine The Light trip of 2019! Dr Brent and the volunteers are getting excited - and for good reason - we will be building 3 homes for deserving families this time!

We just returned from the DR with one of the largest groups we’ve had to date! 38 volunteers which consisted of a large percentage of the staff from Fort Group Chartered Professional Accountants and Dr Brent, Dr Brian, Timo Gerzen a denturist from Steinbach, and a handful of Shine Dental staff and family.
Back To School!
The school year resumed last month at Nest of Love with a once again enlarged space. Another Canadian missions organization added a 2nd storey addition on top of the elementary classrooms. When we first started working with Nest of Love, the school was comprised of two one storey buildings. It has since doubled in size with two separate addition projects.
Just 2 Weeks To Go…
